Want to learn more about how valleys and lakes are formed? Or
why an object in motion will stay in motion in space but not on earth?
Over the course of this class, students will be exposed to
different topics such as physics and earth science: the water cycle, motion,
pollution and global warming, simple Machines, and erosion. It covers a wide
variety of subjects that are not only limited to science, but touches on how
the world works around them.
Students will be given the questions that they can answer and share with the class, and the experiments that can be done with everyday household items to reinforce what they’ve learned.
Learning science helps children developing ability to ask questions, collect information, organize and test their ideas, solve problems, and apply what they learn. Even more, science offers a powerful platform for building confidence, developing communication skills, and making sense of the world around us—a world that is increasingly shaped by science and technology.
